  • Arcadia University, in Pennsylvania, is opening a campus in Delaware to offer a master of medical sciences degree to train physician assistants. The program is the first of its kind in Delaware.
  • Chatham College and Robert Morris University, both in Pennsylvania, have each announced new doctor of nursing practice degree programs.
  • Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is starting a Ph.D. program in electronic arts. The program will build on existing offerings in computer music, video, sound arts, performance, and Web-based and installation-based art.
  • The University of Idaho is starting an executive MBA program.
  • The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is starting a master's program in disaster management.
  • Virginia Tech is starting an online master's program in agriculture and life sciences.
