  • Linda P. Brady, senior vice president and provost at the University of Oregon, has been named chancellor of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
  • George E. Cooper, deputy administrator for Science and Education Resources Development at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, in Washington, has been appointed as president of South Carolina State University.
  • Pam Eddinger, executive vice president of student learning at Moorpark College, in California, has been selected as president there.
  • Paul H. Forestell, associate dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Long Island University's C.W. Post campus, has been promoted to provost there.
  • Andrew Hamilton, provost of Yale University, in Connecticut, has been named vice chancellor of the University of Oxford, in Britain.
  • Steven L. Hoch, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky, has been appointed provost and executive vice president at Washington State University.
  • Timothy S. Mescon, dean of the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University, in Georgia, has been selected as president of Columbus State University, also in Georgia.
