  • Chapman University has started an online master of science program in health risks and crisis communication.
  • Columbia University and Ecole Doctorale of Sciences Po, in Paris, have launched a dual Ph.D. program in political science — the first time Columbia has joined with another academic institution in offering a dual Ph.D. The program allows students to spend two years at the partner institution, during which they will take courses, pass qualifying exams, conduct research and write a dissertation under the direction of a joint dissertation committee.
