  • Michael R. Halleran, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Miami, in Florida, has been named provost at the College of William & Mary, in Virginia.
  • Murray Knuttila, associate vice president (academic) at the University of Regina, in Saskatchewan, has been appointed provost and vice president (academic) at Brock University, in Ontario.
  • Thomas L. Krepel, assistant to the president of Northern Illinois University and former president of Chadron State College, in Nebraska, has been chosen as president of Fairmont State University, in West Virginia.
