August 14, 2009
  • Dartmouth College is starting an accelerated M.B.A. program for its Ph.D. students, in which doctoral students would enroll as business students immediately after they obtain their degrees. Ph.D. courses would count toward some business school electives, shrinking the M.B.A. program by about one term.
  • East Arkansas Community College is starting three programs in renewable energy technology: an associate of applied science degree, a technical certificate and a certificate of proficiency.
  • Texas State University is starting a doctoral degree in criminal justice.
