  • Nine colleges in Minnesota are starting a two-year energy technician program. The colleges are: Alexandria Technical, Century College, Minnesota West Community and Technical, South Central and St. Cloud Technical Colleges; and four colleges of the Northeast Higher Education District – Hibbing Community, Itasca Community, Mesabi Range Community and Technical and Vermilion Colleges.
  • University of New Hampshire is starting a bachelor of science in information technology.
  • Virginia Commonwealth University is starting a doctoral program in nanosciences.
