The following colleges and universities have announced their commencement speakers:

  • Berry College: Rev. Wayne Meisel, president of the Corella & Bertram F. Bonner Foundation.
  • Cañada College: Mohammad H. Qayoumi, president of California State University, East Bay.
  • Dominican College: Ray Suarez, senior correspondent at PBS.
  • Grove City College: Elizabeth Dole, former U.S. senator.
  • Richard Stockton College of New Jersey: Joe Lockhart, former spokesman for President Clinton, and Kim Guadagno, lieutenant governor of New Jersey.
  • South Dakota School of Mines and Technology: Harrison Schmitt, former astronaut and U.S. senator.
  • St. Catherine University, in Minnesota: Marialice P. Harwood, publisher of Delta Sky magazine (undergrad); Peter and Lulu Daly, medical humanitarians (graduate and associate).
  • Southern New Hampshire University: James. B. Smith, U.S. Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
  • University of Cincinnati: Nathaniel R. Jones, a retired judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit Court.
  • University of Massachusetts Amherst: Sheila C. Bair, head of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
  • University of Northern Colorado: Don Marostica, executive director of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (graduate ceremony) and Steve Antonopulos, head athletic trainer for the Denver Broncos (undergraduate ceremony).
  • University of Rhode Island: John King, an anchor for CNN.
