  • Lori Gonzalez, dean of the College of Health Sciences at the University of Kentucky, has been chosen as provost and executive vice chancellor at Appalachian State University, in North Carolina.
  • Bonita Jacobs, executive director of the National Institute for the Study of Transfer Students at the University of North Texas, has been selected as president of North Georgia College & State University
  • Carolyn A. (Biddy) Martin, chancellor of the University of Wisconsin at Madison, has been appointed as president of Amherst College, in Massachusetts.
