A planned scholarship to provide students in Kentucky with free tuition for the first two years is put on ice for a year by the state's governor.

Surveys

Inside Higher Ed's second Survey of Community College Presidents finds them divided over whether free two-year programs will be adopted in their states and worried about the direction of debt-free-college conversations.

The survey was conducted in conjunction with Gallup. Download a copy of the report.

On Wednesday, May 4 at 2 p.m. Eastern, Inside Higher Ed editors Scott Jaschik and Doug Lederman will analyze the findings and answer readers' questions in a free webinar. Register for the webinar.

The Inside Higher Ed survey of community college presidents was made possible in part by advertising from Hobsons, Jenzabar and rSmart.

Booklets

The Quest for Student Success at Community Colleges is Inside Higher Ed's latest compilation of articles.

As with other such print-on-demand booklets, the compilation groups together pieces that explore different strategies used by faculty members and institutions -- and efforts to track their success.

The booklet is free and you may download a copy here.

And you may sign up here for a free webinar on Wednesday, March 25, at 2 p.m. Eastern about the themes of the booklet.

This booklet was made possible in part through the advertising support of ETS.
