The College of the Holy Cross announced Wednesday that it would no longer require applicants to submit SAT or ACT scores. College officials said that they had already been placing more emphasis on other factors in admissions decisions, and that the requirement did not seem necessary.
The Institute of International Education has launched a new online atlas that shows the enrollment patterns of students from all over the world. The Atlas of Student Mobility is designed, organizers said, to help educators identify trends at a time of debate over visa regulations and increased competition for students.
Voters in Johnston County, N.C. on Tuesday approved $10 million in bonds for facilties at Johnston Community College.
