David G. Behrs, associate provost for university initiatives and vice president for student affairs and enrollment management at Dominican University of California, has been appointed president of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, in Indiana.
Edward Bouie, Jr., associate superintendent for management information systems of the DeKalb County School System, has been named president of Argosy University’s Atlanta campus.
Sung-Mo (Steve) Kang, engineering dean at the U. of California at Santa Cruz, has been named chancellor of the University of California at Merced.
Richard W. Phillips, former regional executive director for TLC-Laser Eye Centers, in Memphis, has been selected as president of Southern College of Optometry.
Mary Spangler, president of Oakland Community College, in Michigan, has been appointed  chancellor of Houston Community College.
Eric F. Spina, Douglas D. Danforth Dean of the L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science at Syracuse University, has been named vice chancellor and provost.
