William A. (Bud) Baeslack III, dean of the College of Engineering and executive dean of the professional colleges at Ohio State University, has been appointed as provost and executive vice president at Case Western Reserve University.
Emir Caner, dean of the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary's College at Southwestern, in Texas, has been named president of Truett-McConnell College, in Georgia.
Wyatt R. (Rory) Hume, chief operating officer of the University of California system, has been chosen as provost at the United Arab Emirates University.
Allen L. Sessoms, president of Delaware State University, has been appointed president of the University of the District of Columbia.
Y.T. Shah, provost and director of the Center for Advanced Fuel Technology at the University of Central Missouri, has been selected as provost of Norfolk State University, in Virginia.
