Jerrilynn D. Dodds, distinguished professor and senior faculty adviser to the provost for undergraduate education at the City College of New York, has been selected as dean of the college (the chief academic officer) at Sarah Lawrence College, in New York.
Laurie Stenberg Nichols, interim president at Northern State University, in South Dakota, has been named provost and vice president for academic affairs at South Dakota State University.
Richard J. Pappas, president of National-Louis University, in Illinois, has been appointed president of Davenport University, in Michigan.
Elizabeth L. Paul, vice provost and professor of psychology at the College of New Jersey, has been chosen as the first provost and vice president for academic affairs at Stetson University, in Florida.
Félix V. Matos Rodríguez, former Secretary of the Department of the Family for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and former director of the Centro de Estudios Puertorriqueños/Center for Puerto Rican Studies at the City University of New York's Hunter College, has been named president of CUNY's Hostos Community College.
Steven A. Scott, provost and vice president for academic affairs at Pittsburg State U., in Kansas, has been promoted to president there.
Wayne Watson, president of the City Colleges of Chicago, has been selected as president of Chicago State University.
