Jonathan Brand, president of Doane College, in Nebraska, has been named president of Cornell College, in Iowa.
Gerry Buckley, assistant vice president for college advancement at Rochester Institute of Technology's National Technical Institute for the Deaf, has been promoted to president of NTID and vice president and dean of RIT.
Thomas Burns, associate provost at Millersville University of Pennsylvania, has been chosen as provost at Belmont University, in Tennessee.
Richard A. Carvajal, vice president for student success services at Cascadia Community College, in Washington State, has been selected as president of Bainbridge College, in Georgia.
Elizabeth Garrett, Frances R. and John J. Duggan Professor of Law, Political Science and Public Policy and interim provost at the University of Southern California, has been named provost and senior vice president for academic affairs there.
Christine J. Quinn, provost and vice chancellor of University of Wisconsin-Extension, has been appointed provost of National-Louis University, in Illinois.
Maria G. Pallavicini, dean of the School of Natural Sciences at the University of California at Merced, has been selected as provost at University of the Pacific, also in California.
