Alaa S. Abd-El-Aziz, provost of the University of British Columbia's Okanagan campus, has been selected as president-designate of the University of Prince Edward Island.
Christopher Brown, executive vice president and provost at Fisk University, in Tennessee, has been chosen as president at Alcorn State University, in Mississippi.
Junius Gonzales, professor and dean of the College of Behavioral & Community Sciences at the University of South Florida, has been named provost and vice president for academic affairs at the University of Texas at El Paso.
Ralph J. Hexter, president of Hampshire College, in Massachusetts, has been appointed provost and executive vice chancellor at the University of California at Davis.
Marisa Kelly, dean and McQuinn Distinguished Chair of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of St. Thomas, in Minnesota, has been appointed provost and vice president for academic affairs at Ithaca College, in New York.
Frederick G. Slabach, executive secretary and chief executive officer of the Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation, in Washington, D.C., has been named president of Texas Wesleyan University.
