Philip Conroy, vice president of enrollment management and marketing at Mount Ida College, in Massachusetts, has been appointed president of Vermont Technical College.
Ben E. Hancock Jr., vice president for university advancement at Ball State University, in Indiana, has been appointed president of Methodist University, in North Carolina.
Medhat Haroun, dean of the School of Sciences and Engineering at the American University in Cairo, has been promoted to provost there.
Jean Hernandez, vice president for instruction at South Seattle Community College, in Washington State, has been selected as president of Edmonds Community College, also in Washington.
Anthony P. Monaco, pro-vice-chancellor for planning and resources at the University of Oxford, in Britain, has been named president of Tufts University, in Massachusetts.
William (Ted) Moore, vice president of finance and planning and chief financial officer at the University of South Carolina, has been chosen as provost and vice president for academic affairs at Georgia Southern University.
Nancy Uscher, provost of the California Institute of the Arts, has been selected as president of Cornish College of the Arts, in Washington State.
