Brian R. Chapman, professor of biology at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, has been named provost and senior vice president at the University of Houston Downtown.
Michael S. Helmick, vice president for academic affairs at Western Piedmont Community College, in North Carolina, has been chosen as president at Rockingham Community College, also in North Carolina.
Denise Henning, president and vice chancellor of University College of the North, in Manitoba, has been selected as president of Northwest Community College, in British Columbia.
Carole M. Berotte Joseph, president of Massachusetts Bay Community College, has been appointed as president of Bronx Community College, in New York.
Ann McElaney-Johnson, vice president for academic and student affairs at Salem College, in North Carolina, has been named president of Mount St. Mary’s College, in California.
April McMahon, vice principal for planning, resources & research policy at University of Edinburgh, in Scotland, has been chosen as vice chancellor at Aberystwyth University, in Wales.
Steven Rosenstone, vice president for scholarly and cultural affairs, and professor of political science at the University of Minnesota, has been appointed as chancellor of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system.
