John David Dawson, professor of religion and Constance and Robert MacCrate Professor in Social Responsibility at Haverford College, in Pennsylvania, has been named president of Earlham College, in Indiana.
Michael Horvath, professor and dean of the School of Education at Indiana University South Bend, has been selected as provost and vice president for academic affairs at the University of West Georgia.
Deborah Jackson, CEO of the American Red Cross of Eastern Massachusetts, has been chosen as president of Cambridge College, also in Massachusetts.
Susan J. Koch, provost and vice president for academic affairs at Northern Michigan University, has been named vice president and chancellor of the University of Illinois at Springfield.
Perry Moore, provost at Texas State University-San Marcos, has been selected as vice chancellor for academic affairs at the Texas State University System.
Patrick Prendergast, professor of bio-engineering and vice provost/chief academic officer at Trinity College Dublin, in Ireland, has been promoted to provost there.
Mark S. Schlissel, dean of biological sciences at the University of California at Berkeley, has been chosen as provost of Brown University, in Rhode Island.
