Ira Blake, interim provost at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, has been chosen as provost and senior vice president for academic affairs there.
Alan M. Garber, the Henry J. Kaiser Jr. Professor and professor of medicine and economics at Stanford University, in California, has been named provost of Harvard University.
Angus Graeme, vice president for academic and student development at Selkirk College, in British Columbia, has been promoted to president and CEO there.
Michael R. Lovell, dean of the College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee, has been selected as chancellor there.
Tracy Parkinson, dean of the faculty and associate vice president for academic affairs at King College, in Tennessee, has been appointed as provost at Coker College, in South Carolina.
Madison U. Sowell, former director of the Honors Program and associate dean of undergraduate education at Brigham Young University, in Utah, has been selected as provost at Southern Virginia University.
Satish K. Tripathi, provost and executive vice president for academic affairs at the State University of New York at Buffalo, has been named president there.
