Rodney Custer, associate vice president for research, graduate studies, and international education at Illinois State University, has been named provost at Black Hills State University, in South Dakota.
Rod Hanley, dean of science and professor of biology at the University of Winnipeg, in Manitoba, has been selected as provost and vice president (academic) at Lakehead University, in Ontario.
Dennis Jacobs, vice president and associate provost for undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame, in Indiana, has been chosen as provost and vice president for academic affairs at Santa Clara University, in California.
Thomas F. Moore, vice president for academic affairs and dean of the faculty at Winthrop University, has been appointed chancellor of the University of South Carolina Upstate.
Carli C. Schiffner, dean of arts and sciences at Yakima Valley Community College, in Washington, has been selected as provost and vice president for academic affairs at the State University of New York College of Technology at Canton.
Mark J. Zacovic, executive vice president of instruction and student services at Victor Valley College, in California, has been named president of Cuyamaca College, also in California.
