Joyce A. De Leo, chair of the department of pharmacology & toxicology and a professor of anesthesiology and neurology at Dartmouth Medical School, in New Hampshire, has been selected as vice president of academic affairs at Emmanuel College.
John T. Dever, executive vice president of academic and student services at Northern Virginia Community College, has been named president of Thomas Nelson Community College, also in Virginia.
Doris F. Givens, vice chancellor of educational services for the Kern Community College District, in California, has been chosen as president of Kansas City Kansas Community College.
Lon Kaufman, vice provost for undergraduate affairs and dean of the Honors College at the University of Illinois at Chicago, has been promoted to provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs there.
Jeanette Mladenovic,senior associate dean at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, in Florida, has been appointed as provost at Oregon Health & Science University.
Kathleen A. Noble, associate vice chancellor for continuing education services at Tarrant County College, in Texas, has been named president of Kaplan University's campus in Lincoln, Neb.
