David Devier, vice president of academic and student affairs at Clark State Community College, in Ohio, has been named as president of Glen Oaks Community College, in Michigan.
Alice Gast, president of Lehigh University, in Pennsylvania, has been chosen as president of Imperial College London.
Paul Illich, vice president for research, planning and information technology at McLennan Community College, in Texas, has been selected as president of Southeast Community College, in Nebraska.
Timothy Hall, president of Austin Peay State University, in Tennessee, has been appointed as president of Mercy University, in New York.
Edward Peck, pro-vice chancellor and head of the College of Social Sciences at the University of Birmingham, in Britain, has been chosen as vice chancellor at Nottingham Trent University, also in Britain.
William Rugg, provost and vice president for academic affairs at Northeastern State University, in Oklahoma, has been named provost and vice chancellor of academic affairs at Montana State University Northern.
Timothy D. Sands, executive vice president for academic affairs and provost at Purdue University, in Indiana, has been selected as president of Virginia Tech.
Lawrence Schovanec, interim provost and senior vice president at Texas Tech University, has been appointed to the job on a permanent basis
