Paul Boyle, chief executive of the Economic and Social Research Council and president of Science Europe, has been chosen as vice chancellor of the University of Leicester, in Britain.
Roxanne Gonzales, academic dean and professor at Regis University's College for Professional Studies, in Colorado, has been named president at Granite State College, in New Hampshire.
Max Lu, deputy vice chancellor (research) at the University of Queensland, in Australia, has been selected as provost there.
Father Mark Poorman, executive vice president at the University of Portland, in Oregon, has been named president there.
Jenifer K. Ward, dean of the college at Cornish College of the Arts, in Washington, has been appointed as provost and dean of the college at Centenary College, in Louisiana.
