Poor Endowment Year for Large Public Universities

Early results from the Wilshire Trust Universe Comparison Service suggest that the past fiscal year was a rough one for large public university endowments, Bloomberg reported. Seven such universities reported endowment value declines. The institutions: the Universities of California, Colorado, North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Iowa, Washington and Virginia; and Ohio State University.
