  • Allegheny College has completed a five-year campaign, raising $202 million. The original goal was $200 million. More than $50 million was raised for scholarships.

  • Mary Clark, deputy provost and dean of faculty at American University, in Washington, D.C., has been named provost at the University of Denver, in Colorado.

  • Michael Claire, president of College of San Mateo, in California, has been chosen as chancellor of the San Mateo County Community College District, also in California.
