March 20 -- Parents of pre-college students offer their views on the most important reasons to go to college, why jobs matter, the liberal arts, money and affirmative action in a new Inside Higher Ed survey. first conducted in conjunction with researchers from Gallup.

On Thursday, April 11, Inside Higher Ed presented a free webinar to discuss the results of the survey. Editor Scott Jaschik and two admissions directors --  Jim Rawlins of Colorado State University and Debra Shaver of Smith College -- shared and analyzed the findings and took audience questions. March 1 -- Campus leaders weighed in on timely topics such as affirmative action, the potential impact of massive open online courses (MOOCs), and the security of their jobs in Inside Higher Ed's new Survey of College & University Presidents, the third annual survey of campus chief executives. It is the first conducted in conjunction with researchers from Gallup.

On Thursday, March 20, Inside Higher Ed presented a webinar to discuss the results of the survey. Editor Doug Lederman was joined by Sanford Shugart, president of Valencia College, and S. Jan. 23, 2013 -- Chief academic officers in an Inside Higher Ed survey are aware their institutions rely on non-tenure-track instructors, but don't expect much to change. And they see MOOCs more as a threat to their business models than as an improvement for academe.
