Melanie Hardcastle, Digital Marketing & Events Associate, joined Inside Higher Ed in 2015.  She is a D.C. native and proud graduate of Virginia Tech, where she earned her B.A. in International Studies.  Prior to joining Inside Higher Ed, she worked in field marketing at Honest Tea, planning events and pouring countless samples. In her spare time she can be found running along the National Mall, listening to podcasts, or planning her next trip abroad.
