The Origin of Chocolate

In today’s Academic Minute, Cornell University's John Henderson examines chocolate’s long history in the Americas and explains how the beloved substance was used and discovered. Henderson is professor of anthropology at Cornell and a contributor to the forthcoming Food and Feasting in Pre-Columbian Mesoamerica: Interdisciplinary Approaches to Foodways Past and Present.
