In today’s Academic Minute, Harry Ostrer of Yeshiva University's Albert Einstein College of Medicine examines how genetic analysis is shedding light on the global history of entire peoples. Ostrer is a professor of genetics and pediatrics at the Albert Einstein and creator of the Jewish HapMap Project, an international effort to map and sequence the genomes of Jewish people.
