In today’s Academic Minute, Natalie Spillman of Washington University in St. Louis discusses research that points to an effective way to kill the microorganism that causes malaria. Spillman is a postdoctoral researcher at Washington University. Her research project examining the antimalarial qualities of spiroindolone took place in the Kirk Lab at the Australian National University, where Spillman was a visiting fellow.
