And more gifts wait for Santa’s arrival.
And now is the time to rest
And enjoy.
So, put your arms around your children
And your hands around some hot cocoa.
Sink deeply into a sofa
In front of a lighted tree.
Play some ancient songs
And LISTEN-
To the sound of silence that has been missing for so long.
And if you are still long enough, you may even hear
Whimpers
The soft cries of a newborn baby.
