New Presidents or Provosts: Northeastern State U., Presentation College, Southwestern College, U. of Minnesota

Karen Hanson, provost of Indiana University at Bloomington and executive vice president of Indiana University, has been appointed as senior vice president for academic affairs and provost at the University of Minnesota.

Margaret Huber, former president and now special assistant to the president of La Roche College, in Pennsylvania, has been named president of Presentation College, in South Dakota.

Melinda Nish, vice president of instruction at Orange Coast Community College, in California, has been chosen as superintendent/president of Southwestern College, also in California.

Steve Turner, vice president for administration and finance and executive assistant to the president for governmental relations and economic development at East Central University, in Oklahoma, has been selected as president of Northeastern State University, also in Oklahoma.
