- Walter M. Kimbrough, president of Philander Smith College, in Arkansas, has been named president of Dillard University, in Louisiana.
- Lyle D. Roelofs, provost and dean of the faculty and professor of physics at Colgate University, in New York, has been selected as president of Berea College, in Kentucky.
- Kim Schatzel, dean of the College of Business at University of Michigan-Dearborn, has been chosen as provost and vice president at Eastern Michigan University.
