- Dan Heimmermann, dean of the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Texas at Brownsville, has been selected as provost and vice president for academic affairs at Mississippi University for Women.
- Marsha V. Krotseng, vice chancellor for strategic planning and executive director of the College Technical Education Council for the North Dakota University System, has been chosen as president of Bluefield State College, in West Virginia.
