- Columbus State University: Georgia Governor Nathan Deal, a Republican.
- Dickinson College: Madeleine Albright, former U.S. secretary of state.
- Harper College: U.S. Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker.
- Iona College: The Rev. Timothy Cardinal Dolan, Archbishop of New York.
- Lakeland College: Jeffrey Selingo, a contributing editor to The Chronicle of Higher Education and professor of practice at Arizona State University.
- Northwestern College (Iowa): on James Bultman, former president of Hope College and Northwestern College.
- Ripon College: David Plotz and Hanna Rosin, both journalists from Slate.
- Sarah Lawrence College: Fareed Zakaria, a host for CNN’ and editor-at-large of Time.
- Simmons College: Billie Jean King, the tennis star.
- University of Pennsylvania: John Legend, the Grammy Award-winning soul artist and philanthropist.
- University of Rochester: Chris Matthews, political news commentator and author.
- Warren Wilson College: Peter Sagal, host of NPR’s long-running “Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me,”
- Winthrop University: Cece Stewart, president of U.S. consumer and commercial banking for Citigroup.
