Jerry Falwell Jr., president of Liberty University, is again facing criticism for his ties to Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee.

This time the controversy is over a photograph Falwell tweeted of himself and his wife with Trump in the candidate's office:

As The Atlanta Journal Constitution noted, many Christians have been asking why the president of a Christian university would pose with his wife in front of a wall of images that includes a cover of Playboy. The issue, from 1990, features a photo of Trump with Miss October 1987.

Falwell tweeted back to his critics: "Honored for same hypocrites who accused Jesus of being a friend of publicans and sinners to be targeting me over a decades-old mag cover! TY."
