Southern Catholic College announced this week that it will end the semester April 15, a month early, due to money problems, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. Students will receive credit for the entire semester. College officials declined to say if the Georgia institution would reopen. Southern Catholic is among several new Roman Catholic colleges whose supporters have suggested that they be more traditional in adherence church teachings than are other Catholic colleges.
