University of Idaho Fires Controversial Professor

The University of Idaho has fired a professor who admitted to methamphetamine use and who has battled with campus administrators, the Moscow-Pullman Daily News reported. The university barred Denise Bennett from its campus in January, and a panel recommended her dismissal this month. Bennett told the local newspaper that she would appeal.
