A new report from Tokyo Medical University admits that there is evidence that the institution helped applicants who were related to donors, The Japan Times reported. The report does not have conclusive proof but revealed that an investigation discovered a list of applicants with numbers indicating the donations of their relatives. "Score rigging" on the entrance exam may have been carried out for those applicants, the report says. The report also revealed an email exchange in which the parent of an applicant was advised to make a donation and then to make a larger one after the entrance exam was given.
