Jeff Klinzman, an adjunct instructor of English at Kirkwood Community College in Iowa, said that he is unapologetically part of the antifascist movement "antifa" after some of his social media posts drew media attention, KCRG reported. In response to a tweet by President Trump calling antifa members "gutless Radical Left Wack Jobs who go around hitting (only non-fighters) people over the heads with baseball bats," Klinzman wrote on Facebook, “Yeah, I know who I'd clock with a bat.”
The Secret Service reportedly told KCRG that it is aware of Klinzman's post but did not say whether it is investigating him as a threat. Kirkwood declined to comment on the matter. In 2017, federal authorities investigated Lars Maischak, a lecturer in history at California State University, Fresno, for tweeting that Trump “must hang.” He eventually was cleared.
