Former first lady Michelle Obama has launched a new web series to encourage students to enroll in and stay in college.

The series, "A Year of Firsts," tracks four students from diverse backgrounds in college. The initiative is part of Reach Higher, Obama's organization to encourage college enrollment and completion.

The students will share the highs and lows of college. Obama described the effort here.
