A survey of 947 members of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers identified several topics as priority areas for professional development.

The top areas and the percentages of the survey takers who were interested in them:

  • Knowledge of student records management law, policy and governance: 84 percent
  • Record-keeping services and data stewardship: 82 percent
  • Data systems management: 77 percent
  • Academic policy and curriculum delivery: 76 percent
  • Enrollment technology: 73 percent
