Advances in technology are allowing some people to hear and even create music for the first time. In today's Academic Minute, the University of the Pacific's Feilin Hsiao explains how cochlear implants engage the hearing impaired musically. Hsiao is assistant professor of music at Pacific and directs the university's music therapy program. A transcript of this podcast can be found here.
