The Online Learning Consortium on Tuesday announced its initial group of "emerging scholars" to participate in the organization's Research Center for Digital Learning and Leadership. The new program identifies current or recent doctoral students who are interested in shaping the future of research on the role of technology in learning.
The first class of scholars includes:
- Elaine Beirne, Ph.D. candidate, Dublin City University, Ireland
- Katherine McAlvage, instructional designer, Center for Learning and Technology, Marylhurst University, Oregon
- Mary Rice, assistant professor of literacy, University of New Mexico
- Matthew Romanoski, senior instructional designer, Office of Digital Learning, University of Arizona
