LaGuardia Community College, the City University of New York System and the State University of New York System will this fall offer 15-credit cloud computing certificate programs created in collaboration with Amazon, the company announced last week.
The tech giant's work-force development efforts in the state will lead up to the arrival of a new headquarters for the company on Long Island, according to a press release.
LaGuardia Community College will also partner with at least one New York City high school to offer concurrent enrollment in the certificate program.
