At a recent meeting of the University Senate, faculty members questioned why Purdue's OWL, a respected and influential resource on writing instruction, would partner with a company that has a reputation for helping students to cheat on their homework.
  • Alternative Universities: Speculative Design for Innovation in Higher Education explores a range of possible new models for higher education. The book, published by Johns Hopkins University Press, was written by David J. Staley, who doesn't restrict himself to models immediately possible or practical. Staley, director of the Humanities Institute and an associate professor of history at Ohio State University, answers questions about his book.
