The following colleges and universities have announced their commencement speakers for spring 2015:
- Claremont Graduate University: Mukesh Aghi, president of the U.S.-India Business Council.
- Fairfield University: The Rev. James Martin, a Jesuit priest, author and editor; and the Rev. Greg Boyle, founder and executive director of Homeboy Industries.
- Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge: John Elstrott, board chair of Whole Foods Market.
- Michigan Technological University: ,Susan Skochelak, group vice president for medical education at the American Medical Association.
- Mount Saint Mary’s University, Los Angeles: Alejandra Ceja, executive director of the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics.
- Ohio Dominican University: Ohio Governor John R. Kasich.
- Saint Xavier University: Ana Dutra, president and CEO of Executives’ Club of Chicago; James Reynolds, Jr., founder and CEO of Loop Capital; and Jason Canner, physician and head of pediatric hematology/oncology at Advocate Hope Children’s Hospital.
- San Jose State University: House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi.
- Santa Clara University: The Rev. James Martin, editor at large of America Magazine.
- Springfield College: Andrew Seligsohn, president of Campus Compact, and Ann Hope, a research associate at Trinity College Dublin.
- St. John Fisher College: Rudolph W. Giuliani, the former mayor of New York City.
- Thiel College: Bishop Elizabeth Eaton of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.
