Chegg Acquires Company Behind Bibliography Websites

Chegg on Monday took yet another step to expand its product offerings away from textbooks with the acquisition of Imagine Easy Solutions, the company behind bibliography-generation websites such as BibMe, CitationMachine and EasyBib. The acquisition is the latest in a series for Chegg, which over the last several years has focused itself around student services. Chegg paid about $42 million for Imagine Easy Solutions, the company said in the announcement.
