The following colleges and universities have announced new online academic programs in recent days:
- Illinois College is beginning fully online bachelor's degrees in nursing, agribusiness and business administration.
- Michigan State University is establishing new online master of science degrees in electrical engineering and mechanical engineering.
- The University of Kansas' School of Education and Edwards Campus is launching a bachelor of applied science degree in exercise science.
- The University of Mount Union, in Ohio, is creating a fully online master of education degree with concentrations in athletic coaching, curriculum and instruction, educational leadership, and Ohio principal licensure.
- The University of Wisconsin Board of Regents, through its Extended Campus, will offer new online master's degrees, in applied biotechnology and information technology management.
