• Central Michigan University: Pete Engardio, former editor of the Asian edition of BusinessWeek.
• Goshen College: Ronnie A. Yoder, chief administrative law judge of the U.S. Department of Transportation.
• Ithaca College: CCH Pounder, the actress.
• Misericordia University: Prudence Bushnell, former deputy assistant secretary of state.
• Robert Morris University: Jai Pausch, whose late husband Randy was the Carnegie Mellon University professor who inspired many with his “Last Lecture.”
• Texas A&M University: Gen. David H. Petraeus.
• Unity College: Kate Braestrup, the author.
• Washington University in St. Louis: Steven Chu, secretary of energy.
